   Freelance

   Tech lead at the largest container terminal operator in the Port of Rotterdam (a Hutchison Ports company), leading engineering on the customer-facing and operational surface of Europe’s largest container terminal.

   • Lead developer on myterminal.ect.nl, the customer portal used by shipping lines, forwarders, and hauliers to track vessels (ETA/ETD/ATA/ATD), containers, truck visits, and equipment interchange reports
   • Lead developer on the ECT App, the mobile app every trucker visiting ECT uses to pre-announce and optimise their terminal visit
   • Integrations and process-optimisation work across truck handling, terminal production, and customer engagement
   • Deeply operational, 24/7 environment where releases have to hold up against real-world terminal flow

   Near-five-year engagement at VU Amsterdam delivering and evolving the SharePoint platform across two major version migrations (SharePoint 2010 through 2013 and on to 2016).

   Part of the AchmeaNet 2010 migration, moving the intranet used daily by 22,000 Achmea employees from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010.

   • Implemented SharePoint 2010 features including MySites and Fast Search
   • Earlier sub-project: migrated a WebSphere site (public + management areas) to SharePoint 2010 and optimised its workflows

   Member of the NGI project team led by Niklas Zennström (later co-founder of Kazaa, Skype, and Atomico), responsible for defining the specification requirements for the everyday.com / nl.everyday.com portal.
